Last year, Labetts supplied and installed R211 manual roller blinds and R202 crank operation roller blinds to Block 3 of Mace's Greenwich Square 686-home regeneration scheme.
The purpose of the residential development, at the former Greenwich District Hospital site in East Greenwich, was to create a new community for east Greenwich. Delivering 50% affordable housing, high-quality design has been a key feature of the project.
The layout of Greenwich Square has been designed to create a 'community hub', with a new public square surrounded by cafes and restaurants as well as providing access to the new Greenwich Centre with its gymnasium, swimming pools, library and medical practice. The new homes range from apartments and maisonettes with balconies, to family-focused terraced houses with landscaped gardens.
