Labetts are thrilled to have supplied and installed our R201 manual operation roller blinds, V300 Venetian blinds and T510 hand operation curtain tracks with C800 curtains at Crest Nicholson's new £600 million Garden Village scheme, Arborfield Green. This is the regeneration of the former Arborfield Garrison in Berkshire (which began its military presence in 1911 as the Remount Depot, supplying horses to the military for operational and ceremonial tasks), into a significant, new community of 2,000 contemporary homes.
Arborfield Green combines the best of town and country living all in one place. Once complete, the 15-acre development will provide all of the associated facilities and infrastructure required to support a high quality, sustainable and thriving new community. This will include up to 2000 homes (80 of which are for assisted living and 400 affordable homes), a new district centre with a range of community and retail facilities, a primary and secondary school, sports facilities and pitches, and new green public open spaces, including community gardens and allotments. A new central transportation hub and improved foot, bridleway and cycle paths will also be created.
